Phantasm (1979)

Written by Happywax  May 2011
Rating 8 out of 10

Director   -   Don Coscarelli

Cast
A. Michael Baldwin-   Mike pearson
Bill Thornbury-   Jody Pearson
Reggie Bannister- Reggie
Angus Scrimm- The Tall Man
Kathy Lester- Lady in Lavender

Hey all you Horror Hounds, Happys in the dungeon tonight and im bringing you one of my all-time favourite movies,Phantasm may not make a lot of sense, the story is confusing and seems to have been made up as it went along, but that's kind of the point. It's like watching someone else's fever dream...and that's exactly what it's supposed to be like, because it IS someone else's fever dream. Phantasm is a classic nightmare; totally unpredictable, claustrophobic, paranoid and frightening.

13 year old Michael Baldwin was perfect as the young protagonist, an amazingly refreshing, un-annoying child actor. I was totally convinced by his performance as the lonely teen, desperately chasing after his older brother and displaying just the right amounts of anger, confusion and frustration, yet never giving in to panic even as his world spins out of control. Bill Thornbury as older brother Jody seemed mysteriously detached, yet after repeated viewings, I realized how correct this was in light of the twist ending. He is, indeed, a ghost that Michael simply refuses to give up. Reggie Bannister was completely irresistible as the sweet and gentlemanly Reggie the Ice Cream Man, who manages to remain innocent and lovable even as he suggests ramming a stake through the Tall Mans heart. And the Tall Man, Mr. Angus Scrimm himself...BRRRRR!!! He doesn't have many lines (other than the now-infamous "BOYYYYYYY!") but he doesn't need any. His very presence is chilling, and the scene where he stops dead in the middle of a suburban sidewalk in the middle of the day and turns, ever so slowly, to face Michael through a mist of frost emanating from Reggie's ice cream truck, is more frightening than any murder scene set in the dead of night. And need I mention the flying balls? What an original, ingenious invention!
This is such an amazing blend of sci-fi, horror and fantasy that I really did not care if it didn't make a whole lot of sense. The flying balls, the dwarves, the yellow blood, and THAT FLY IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL!!! Wow. If nothing else, you simply have to give this film and its makers credit for originality,I dont really want to give away to much of the plot of this movie, just watch it for yourself and come to your own conclusion, but trust me you won't be disappointed, and make sure you check the trailer below.

Hey all you Gore Hounds , Happys in the Dungeon tonight with a kung fu flick of all things. Now this movie isn't a Horror movie by any means but when it comes to GORE, you'd be hard pressed to find a flick with more of the red stuff than this masterpiece ( other than maybe Dead Alive),

"This is better than Advil for your headache !!"
"So this is how you tie a Windsor !"
I remember a few years back watching the Comedy Channel when Craig Kilborn was hosting the Daily Show and just before he would start his five question segment with the guest they would always show this big guy smashing a smaller guys head into pieces. I always laughed when I saw it and often wondered where that scene came from. Low and behold, a friend of mine ( The Lenedary Gore Girl)  showed me Riki-oh. Wow!!!! was about the only thing I could say after the movie was over. Instantly, one of my all time favorites.

The story is that Riki has been sent to a prison that makes "Oz" look like child's play. He was sent there after murdering the man who caused his girlfriend to kill herself. While in the prison Riki must defend himself and the other inmates from the Warden, Assistant Warden, and the leaders of the 4 different sections of the prison. This all results in a nonstop bloodbath from start to finish, and to help you out a bit more your old pal Happy has taken the time to create a check list of all the things that make this move FRIGGIN AWSOME!!!

Army Of Darkness (1992)

Embeth Davidtz    -    Sheila
Marcus Gilbert      -    Lord Arthur
Ian Abecrombie    -    Wise Man
Richard Grove      -    Duke Henry The Red

Hey there Terror Trolls ! Axemasters back in the dungeon today , with the final installment of The Evil Dead Trilogy ....... Army of Darkness !!
This is a classic must see for all first timers to masters Raimi and campbells
Glorious Gore filled whacked out adventures of a simple "housewares" employee named Ash ! All those who aren't first timers , will enjoy watching this flick again and again , as once , just isn't enough !! Heres the story line in a nut shell ......................

"Want to arm wrestle for beers !?"
Okay , so , there's this guy named Ash . A simple S-Mart employee , who just wanted to take his girlfriend , Linda, on a romantic , relaxing "Sugar" filled weekend at a cabin up in the woods . But , sometimes what we plan doesn't come to be ! At the cabin , Ash and Linda were attacked by evil forces in the form of Candarian demons , who came into our realm via an old , human flesh bound book called .... the Necronomicon ! Ash battled them furiously , but wasn't able to save Linda . She got possessed and he had to lop off her head with a garden spade !!(oh trust me , it gets better !!) Her decapitated head , bit him in the hand , thus turning his own hand against him !! He did what any red blooded survivalist would do of course ! He cut off the evil appendage with a Chain Saw !!! There after a battle ensues at and around the cabin that would make Rambo week in the knees ! At the end of this battle , Ash uses the Necronomicon to open a portal into time , and blast the demons , the hell out of our dimension !! The only problem is , he blasts himself out , right along with them ! (sheesh ! all this guy wanted to do was get laid !)
"S-Mart security ! Nothing to be alarmed about folks !! "
So , he ends up in the 1300's (yes folks ! I told you it gets better !) where he is first made a slave , as the local Knights , who have been battling there own demon problem , mistake him for one . It might have something to do with the chainsaw that is now his right arm ! I don't know , just a guess !
They throw him in a pit , containing , Yup You Guessed it ! Demons ! Or as the folks in these parts refer to them ..... Deadites !! (Dun da da DUNN!)
Of course by this time , old Ash has learned to kick some serious Ash , oh sorry I mean Ass (ha ha ) and a couple of Deadites in a pit are nothing for him !
He also gets a hand (in this case his chainsaw hand !!) from an
old "Wise Man" who tosses his motor powered appendage into the pit for him ! You see , Wise Man believes that Ash is the Savior out of an old prophesy , and that he will lead them out of their dark times !
Ash destroys them in a jiffy and makes it back out of the pit , and decks the king of the castle , Lord Arthur in front of every body , and dares all comers to take him on ! (is this going to his head or what !)
"Who says Im getting to long in the tooth for part 4 !?"
After that , everybody adores Ash , and he is treated like a hero . He relaxes with a hot bath (presumably the first in three films worth of grime !! EEeeewww !!) and some young ladies seeing to his every need , feeding him grapes and the works , you know ! Hero stuff ! All the while , a slightly ashamed , Lord Arthur (He got decked by a one handed housewares employee for god sake !! ) and the Wise Man , brief Ash on his mission ! He has to go out and retrieve a creepy old book , bound in human flesh (Oh god , Not that Again !!) , the Necronomicon ! This is the only hope they have of defeating the Deadites once and for all , and for Ash , the book is the only way back to his own time ! The Wise Man tells him where he has to go to get the book . He also tells him , that there is an incantation he must speak before he takes the book , or he will unleash , Yup , You Guessed it again ,
"This razor rash is a bitch !!"
An Army Of Darkness ! Naturally , being in a hurry to get back home to running water and cheese burgers , Ash rushes off to save the day one more time !  Along the way , he has some troubles , you know , being cloned by demons , fighting little imp Ashes , just the general annoyances when dealing with Deadites !!
So , by the time he reaches the alter , where the book is kept , its completely understandable that our S-Mart Warrior , well he , kinda ...... Forgets the Magic Words that release the Necronomicon safely !! (Shit Eh !!)
Of course as you can imagine ..... All Hell Breaks loose ! Ash is forced to return to the castle on the run , and admit he screwed the pooch as far as getting the book without unleashing more Evil Deadites upon the hapless castle dwellers !
"Lets go for a soda Sweetie  !!"
Obviously , this flick is a zany romp through Horror Comedy that shouldn't be missed ! The flick still has some gore and lots of ghoulish creatures , but its toned down bit from the two previous films . Given that it was made in the early 1990's , thats not surprising . Gore was kind of out for a while back then . But the story itself is a blast ! (from a BOOM Stick maybe !!?)
"I thought we settled this  !! I'm Driving today !!
I for one hope that Sam Raimi can whip old Bruce into shape enough for one more kick at the can ! Because , you know ..... you never can tell when some of those pesky Deadites will show up and start messing things up !!
So You Hounds of Horror , its time for the Axemaster to sign off once again ! Its getting a bit dusty down in the dungeon so I've got some vacuuming  to do down here .

And remember Fright fans.................. if you ever go to a cabin in the woods ............

                                  Remember these simple words .................

                                                CLATTOO .............

                                                      VERATTA .................

                                                           NNNYYIC.....................

                                                      Oh Crap ! !!!!!!!!!!

Evil Dead 2 (1987)

Cast

Dan Hicks            -    Jake
Kassie Wesley     -     Bobbie Joe

Hey there all you Gargantuan Ghouls of Gore !! Axemasters back in the dungeon (boy it's creepy in here !) tonight with another Blast from the Past ! (shot gun Blast maybe !!) Evil Dead 2 !! This is one over the top flick and is , in my humble opinion , one of the best horror comedies of all time !! Yes thats right , Horror comedy ! Oh I see ! You were expecting another fright flick as the sequel to the original ? Guess again . Masters Raimi and campbell serve this one up with the laughs (and the gore !!) in mind !  Here's the story line in a nut shell ................

"This hangnail is killing me !!"
"So Think you're pretty Handy eh !?"
Okay . So . you've got Ash and Linda heading up to a creepy cabin in the woods and ..... hey ! Wait a minute , didn't Linda get demon-a-fied , then sliced and diced in the first one !!?? Yes thats right horror fans . Basically the story is very similar to Evil Dead 1 , only its just Ash and Linda that go up to the cabin . Its like the story of the first one is recapped in the first 15 minutes of the flick ! By that time Ash has already .......... Discovered the Necronomicon (eerie book bound in human flesh ! UUgh !! ) and the old Panasonic reel to reel tape deck ........... listened to the professor on the tape recite a bunch of ancient Sumerian mumbo jumbo that awakens the Candarian demons around the place ............. and lost Linda to the Demons (again !!) and decapitated her with a spade ! ( all in a days work right !! )...............Tried to escape in the "Ash Mobile" only to find that the bridge has been mysteriously torn asunder !.......... Been Possessed himself by demons (and spent the night in a mud puddle !) .......... and generally been bashed around pretty severely ! This is when Ash holes up in the cabin by himself and fights the demons one on one ! In scenes out of a lunatics day dream he takes on his own hand , which , after having been bitten by the decapitated head of his recently deceased girlfriend ( Yes I'm serious folks , you've got to see it to really appreciate it !) becomes possessed by demons ! There's only one way to beat the "bad hand " !
Yup , the chainsaw !! He lops off his own hand (in a strangely unnerving scene ) but the battle continues ! (you can't keep a good hand down !!)
Now , there is another part of the story going on as Ash is battling away in the woods . Young Annie Knowby and her boyfriend are heading to the cabin , because she is the daughter of the professor who left the tape deck and , well all the fricken demons behind !
"I said Cheeto's dam it CHEETOS !!"
She has been helping her dad study the Necronomicon ! ( gee why not something like solar power or green energy or something nice like that ?!) and has found some lost pages of the book . She heads up and finds that destroyed bridge . There she meats up with Jake and Bobbie Joe . Two hicks who were putting up flares around the wrecked bridge . She asks them if they know another way to the cabin on the other side . Of course they do ! So off they go . ( higher body count perhaps ? I'll never tell !)
The four arrive at the cabin , and Ash , in the midst of battle , almost kills them with a shotgun blast !! They disarm him and  Annie assumes he's a psycho that has killed her parents ! So they lock him in the fruit cellar ! As they try to make sense of the
crazy scene they have arrived to (the cabin drenched in blood and gore and pretty much wrecked ) Jake presses
"Dam !I Knew I should have packed my shower cap !!"
play on the tape deck . We hear Annies dad say that the demons have possessed her mom , and that he killed her and buried her in the , Yup , You guessed it .... Fruit Cellar ! It is at this point in the film , that Bruce Campbell lets out the greatest scream , ever screamed by a man in motion picture history !! (in this reviewers humble opinion anyway !) as "Sweat Henrietta" Knowby pops out of the floor of the fruit cellar !

"Twister anyone !??"
At the time that this flick came out , my friend and I eagerly awaited its release on Betamax ( Yes thats Betamax folks ! ) and hurried home to watch what
we thought was going to be the kick ass scary sequel to the kick ass scary original ! Well , needless to say ...... we screamed , not with terror , but with laughter !
I laughed so hard at the gore and at the scene where Ash takes off his own hand , that it was right then and there , that I realized how desensitized I had become !
Evil dead 2 is arguably Bruce Campbells greatest performance . He is over the top for most of this film . Pushed to the brink , no doubt , by his old pal Mr. Raimi , who rumor has it , loves to punish campbell and whip him like a dog any time he works with him !! Lets hope they do it again soon , as there seems to definitely be a whole lot of magic when the two get together near a movie camera !

So , once again Horror Hounds , I dare you to be scared , or in this case , get some laughs , with some eeriness thrown in ! Evil Dead 2 is a must see . A true classic , so don't miss it !

       And remember ............ If you're gonna have a ......

              ......... Work Shed............

Hey there all you Creepy Cabin Crawlers !! Axemasters back in the dungeon on this fine morning with a horror treat from the golden age of Gore !! The Evil Dead !!!
"Flossing really makes my gums bleed !!"
(work shed !) Way , way back , before Spider Man , before Hercules , before Xena . There was a group of friends with a dream ! A dream to scare the Bejesus out of people ! Sam Raimi , Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert . They wrote the story , got the film financed and never gave up ! Its a simple story really , and has been redone countless times since in one way or another ,  here's the story line in a nut shell ......

Its the weekend and five friends head up into the woods to spend a couple days of R&R time (not!!) away from the city ! They drive up into the hills , cross an old rickety bridge and head down a veritable cart path to get to the "Cabin" They've rented . (More like a shack !!) They pull up and everybody gets out of the car (ash mobile ! )
and scott goes to the front door to unlock it . The swing on the porch is swaying back and forth , banging into the wall all the time he is fumbling with the keys . The second he gets the door open , the swing ..... stops !! (Gulp!) This sets the mood for the events to come .
"7 , 8 , 9 , 10 !! Ready or not ! Here I Come !!"
They go in , get unpacked and start to unwind . Cheryl , has a few moments and decides to do some sketching . While she's at it , she hears a strange voice saying ....... Join Us ...!!!!  (Double Gulp !!) . She loses control of her sketch hand , and starts scribbling and tearing up her sketch pad !! Hhmmmm . Reason to , Oh I don't know .... LEAVE  maybe !?? Apparently not ! (Sheesh !) She brushes it off , and heads to dinner with the rest of the gang . They sit down for dinner and as the conversation picks up , a trap door in the living room ...... Blows Open !!! (Triple Gulp and more reason to Leave !!) . Of course , they don't leave ...... they investigate !! (Jinkies !) Scott takes a flash light into the gloom of the fruit cellar and disappears for a while . Spurred on by Betsy , Cheryl and Shelly , Ash (who's kind of a pansy at the start really ) goes down to look for Scott ! Scott scares the hell out of him , and shows him some stuff he's found . An old reel to reel Panasonic tape deck , (if you remember these , then you're as vintage as I am and this flick is !!) A single barrel shot gun , and a n eerie old book , bound in some Rude Ass looking leather (Hhmmm !) The two dudes take this weird booty back upstairs to share it with the girls !
"Linda your such a Cut Up !!"
They all gather around later , and press play on the tape machine . This is when we find out that the last tenant was a professor , who was studying ..... Candarian Demons !!
Okay , if thats not reason to leave ... then we have a Horror Movie ! The prof starts to recite some creepy lines and incantations ..... Conda Conda.......... and that when A window blows inward !! Needless to say , an unspeakable Evil is unleashed upon our hapless gang of granola munchers ! And a battle ensues against the forces of darkness and sorrow , of such Epic proportions , that it spilled over into two sequels !! ( and god willing ... a forth ! Although Bruce's famous chin is in competition with his other chins these days !!)
Now bare in mind . When The Evil Dead came out , this was one scary film . People have become far harder to scare nowadays ! I have one friend who was about 16 years old when he saw it at the show (back in the days when sneaking underage was an art form !)  . He said it freaked him out so bad , he walked alone , looking over his shoulder every couple of seconds , hurrying along the dark and windy streets to get home ! The film is chocked full of blood and guts with a vintage , No CGI look that true horror fans will love ! Its a wild ride and weather it scares you or not , is still great to watch on a dark windy night (in a cabin in the woods perhaps ! Yikes !)
"Dam Nose Bleeds driving me Nuts !!"
As always Horror hounds I leave the final decision up to you .
Watch and enjoy .

And Remember .......... if you come across an old reel to reel Panasonic tape deck down in a creepy fruit cellar ..............

                                  DON"T .......... hit play !!

The tale begins with Cheryl , riding the subway to pick up her pal Kathy and go to music class . She gets off the train at a creepy station (That miraculously clears out in seconds just before she gets off !!) and finds she is being tailed by an eerie looking dude (No it's not the 80's clothes , though they are terrible !) with a shinny chrome mask on half his face !! She starts to panic , doing the old looking over my shoulder as I run thing and of course .... Yup , You guessed it ............ runs right into old Chrome face himself !! Turns out he's handing out free tickets to a movie being played at an old theatre in town ! Oh ! Okay , no problem then weird guy ! Why didn't you just say so ! Sound too good to be true ??    So our gal Cheryl , very relieved that old Chrome face is just handing out some free fun , takes the ticket and asks for one more for a friend . That friend is Kathy , who she meets on the way to school , and convinces to skip class and go see the free flick instead ! (remember kids , Skipping School KILLS !!)
The two arrive at the theatre and go on inside for the show . Inside they get picked up on by George and Ken , Two pals also looking for a free show ! No one realizes just how real the show is going to get !! OOps , did I type that out loud !? Sorry ! Anyway , the movie starts and the story on screen is about (You'll never Believe this !!) Demons ! as the film Cheryl , Kathy , George and Ken are watching unfolds ...... strange parallels begin to unfold off screen ! On screen a guy puts a Demon mask on his face and gets a cut from it . In the audience , a lady who was clowning around with a mask in the lobby of the theatre also has a cut on her face !! (Twilight zone or what !!) As the guy on screen bleeds , She bleeds !! As the guy on screen starts to jitter and jive .. She starts to jitter and jive !!!
"My husband better not catch us , he's a real demon !"
And when the guy on screen Turns into a Demon with a Capital "D" , .... Yup thats three You win the Kewpie doll ........ She turns into a Demon with a Capital "D" !!! Naturally , this puts a bit of a damper on the viewing of the free flick as people and Demons don't mix !! RUN !! RUN for the doors you say !! Right let's get the HELL out of here !! (ha ha pardon the pun !) WRONG !! These are demons folks !!           Our Gals Cheryl and Kathy and their hunky suitors soon find that they are walled into this real life fright flick !!(Gulp !) and they must find a way to survive !!
As they battle there way through the place , a veritable Diabolical Deluge of Demonic , Decapitational Debauchery ensues!!  Muuhahahhahhaah !! Oh ... sorry got carried away there !
Demons is a great old flick and you have to see it . Director Lamberto bava , pours forth the gore in rivers of fake blood , green and milky puss , and more eye gouging , throat ripping , scalping and shredding than anyone had seen back in 1985 !! (uug the sound track is as scary as the demons !!)

So Scream fans ......... its getting cold in the dungeon , and I've got to go back ....... back to the realms of light ................... and remember .............. If a man comes bearing gifts ................

Bride of Re-Animator (1990)

David Gale           -   Dr. Carl Hill

Hey all you Gore Geeks,  Happys back in the Horror Dungeon tonight, with another tall of Gore and fright,
"You're tearing Me apart !! No , wait , thats Me !! Sorry !!"
Stuart Gordon's "Re-Animator" of 1985 is an absolute Horror/Gore/Satire classic that no Horror buff could possibly afford to miss. While Brian Yuzna's 1990 sequel "Bride Of Re-Animator" could not have possibly become as great a masterpiece as its predecessor, the film is doubtlessly a gory, weird, hilarious and downright great follow-up to what is quite possibly one of the greatest Horror-Comedy in the history of motion pictures. Ultra-gory, macabre, and hilarious as it gets, "Bride Of Re-Animator" is everything one could possibly desire in a sequel. The title, is, of course, a reference to James Whale's masterpiece "Bride Of Frankenstein" (1935), and the film can indeed be seen as a tribute to the Classic Universal Horror milestone. "Bride Of Frankenstein" is one of the greatest Horror films ever made - and one of the saddest. "Re-Animator" is doubtlessly one of the funniest Horror films ever made. A "Re-Animator" sequel which is, in many aspects, a tribute to "Bride Of Frankenstein" - can the premise of a film be more promising for a Horror fan? I think not.

Several years have obviously gone by since the events in "Re-Animator". Dr. Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) is more dedicated than ever to re-create life. And Dr. Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) is assisting his obsessed colleague - mainly with the intention to give new life to his beloved deceased girlfriend Meg (Barbara Crampton). The two have never stopped to re-animate the dead, and Herbert West has the idea to create a new human being out of dead tissue...
What follows is extremely gory fun. The film is just as gory as its predecessor (if not gorier), and, once again, the gore is as brilliantly comical as possibly imaginable. Jeffrey Combs is once again outstanding in the role of Herbert West. Some actors are born to play a certain role, and while Combs is a great actor who has played many other great roles, the obsessed Dr. West is doubtlessly the role of his life. Nobody else could possibly have fit in the role as Combs does, nobody could have played it with such greatness. Bruce Abbott is back in the role of Dan Caine and David Gale (who died only one year later) is once again great as the (re-animated) evil scumbag Dr. Carl Hill. The female cast includes the sexy Fabiana Udeino who is probably best known for her role of Alotta Fagina in "Austin Powers". Overall, I don't want to give away too much, but as the title implies, Dr. West creates a woman, and what a woman she is... "Bride Of Re-Animator" is not quite the masterpiece the original was, but it is doubtlessly a great sequel and a treat for every Horror fan. Dont you dare miss it, and make sure to check out the trailer below:

Hey all you tortured souls, Happys back in the dungeon tonight to bring you one of my altime favourite movis.
Re-Animator is one of those super-duper-holy-shit-WTF horror movies. You know the kind. It's a movie that if you didn't see it in the theaters, you had to see on video( like your old pal happy did), Or, as is the case now in the 21st century thanks to Anchor Bay, on DVD. And you may not see it right away since it isn't a name brand like a Freddy or Michael Myers, or with the pedigree of Sam Raimi. You have to look into finding this one . But once you see it, it's another reminder of how sick and twisted and hilarious a film can be when its creators keep logic dangling by a thread - sure, some of this is logical, but that's after setting up the 'fact' that people can come back to life by some weird green liquid that one isn't really sure how it's made but, hey, it's Herbert West so maybe you just don't want to know...

No one going to believe a talking head, get a job at a sideshow
Simple premise: Herbert West (Herbert to his friends) is at a medical school when he takes a room with Dan and Megan, an engaged couple who also are connected to the medical university (Dan also a student, Megan daughter of the uptight dean), and tries out his formula to extend life past the expected amount of time the brain can function after death. Turns out it works, first on a cat, then on something... else, like say a huge muscle man in a morgue! From here on its turns into a match of wills - Herbert West versus the vindictive and power hungry Dr. Carl Hill, who wants nothing but to take West's formula - and then when dead and a severed head, to create a zombie army that only he can control through lobotomies... yeah, still crazy? Just you wait.

This is the stuff 'cult' is made of in the film world. You watch it and realize as you're laughing and cringing that you're almost part of a club when watching this. It's a splatter-fest, coupling the  gore of a B (or Z) grade horror movie with some of the dread one maybe found in the original Lovecraft story. Some of the movie is just too bizarre and weird to totally qualify as comedy, or some of it just so much that it goes even further (or at least toe-to-toe) than its other 1985 zombie-comedy, Return of the Living Dead. But probably the best assets to make it crazy-funny as opposed to just crazy is David Gale as Carl Hill (mostly after he's a severed head and body, doing more campy takes than one could ever ask for outside of Bela Lugosi), and Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West. Combs is so good here at projecting this determined, insane but almost admirably passionate *scientists* that it's a shame that he only has one other stand-out performance - as a crazy agent in the Frighteners.
Sure, the acting by the two leads isn't always at its best from Bruce Abbott or Barbara Crampton (a good screamer and a sexy body, but also on par with Abbott for talent), but this is the least thing to worry about, as they're supposed to be the bland-leads. What makes the film so incredible and enduring since its release is its attention to real horror - the body that is just there in the background BOLTS UP oh no! - and some real insane comedy. It's not exactly a spoof either, since it's so daring in its subversion of the Frankenstein formula. It is what a die-hard genre fan is salivating for, pun intended: bloody fun, with chunks, the thicker the better. Im sure most of you have have seen this movie already and i bet much like me you`ve seen it more than once, it really is a movie you can see over and over again and never get tired of it, and if you havent sent it, what the hells wrong with you , get off the couch and go find this movie , or at the very least check out the trailer below.
